Proud Spaces – First Transnational Meeting for Partners

Proud Spaces: Evidencing Safe and Inclusive Spaces for young LGBTQ+ People through Quality Youth Work Practices

Last month we welcomed our partners GrowSpace and Youth Work Ireland Laois to Dublin for the first partner meeting for the Erasmus+ funded project – Proud Spaces, which is supported by national agency Leargas.

Proud Spaces is a three-year project that will evidence the positive outcomes youth work practices achieved in supporting the inclusion of young LGBTQ+ people in Europe. Over the course of the three days in Dublin the partners discussed the shared objectives for the project and outlined an agreed workplan for delivery of each of the strands. The partners also identified the key milestones and timelines that will need to be adhered to in order to deliver on their ambitious agenda for this project.

We enjoyed a very successful three day meeting which solidified the working partnerships of the organisations and allowed each to talk through their expectations and hopes for the project. We look forward to the next partner meeting in County Laois in March 2023
