Lunchtime Learning: Positive Mental Health Promotion in Everyday Youth Work

Youth Work Ireland’s next informal Lunchtime Learning Session takes place on Wednesday November 24th @ 1pm and will focus on everyday youth work practice that supports youth mental health. Practitioners will be provided with a space to share their work, discuss, problem solve challenges arising, and take away new ideas, tools and resources.

These sessions are open to youth workers and leaders from Youth Work Ireland Member Youth Services and aim at creating a space for practitioners to share work, surface challenges and support each other in an informal environment.

This session will also feature a presentation by DrTuuli Kuosmanen on the new youth work tools available at positivementalhealth.eu, Dr Kuosmanen is the Course Coordinator for both the Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health Promotion and the Specialist Certificate in Youth Mental Health Promotion and brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the contribution of everyday youth work practice to mental health promotion.

Following a brief presentation, time will be provided for questions and answers as well as information sharing, discussions problem solving and agenda setting.
