Digital Youth Work - The Manager’s Perspective

This event takes place on September 25th in the Guinness Enterprise Centre, Dublin from 10am-2pm and is hosted by Youth Work Ireland and Camera Education. The event will be of most interest to youth service managers and senior/specialist youth workers interested in Digital Skills. There will be ample opportunity for discussions, as well as networking over lunch. The event will:

  • Launching a new Research Report on Digital Skills and Youth Work in Ireland today, bringing together the diverse views of employers, youth service managers, young people and youth workers.
  • Introduce two innovative Digital Readiness Self-Assessment Tools for individual youth workers and for youth services at organisational level.
  • Is an opportunity for delegates to input into the next stages of the project, in particular our Policy Brief, to advocate together for better Digital Youth Work and Digital Education in Ireland.
