This event offer an opportunity for young people and youth workers to get involved with the Positive Sexual Health campaign. Young people have decided that this campaign should be about more information, learning and debate on consent, safety and well-being. Learning & Sharing days are a chance for everyone to join this discussion, have their voice heard and learn more. The Positive Sexual Health Campaign is being led by a group of young people calling themselves the Sex Talk Team. The events will be led and shaped by this group, providing a Youth Led, and youth-focused day.
Why Young People Should Attend:
The events are open to young people who wish to learn more about the issues of consent, safety and wellbeing in relation to sexual health. Using a youth work approach, the day offers young people a positive, fun environment, with music, food and games where they will feel safe and supported to have their voices heard.

The events are open to youth workers who want to develop their professional knowledge and skills around sexual health. Staff can also feed into the development of a European wide programme on sexual health with a focus on consent, wellbeing and safety.

The numbers of attendees at each event will be capped at 50, the events will be facilitated by members of the youth panel – Sex Talk Team and youth work facilitators.

As part of Youth Work Ireland’s programme of work on Positive Sexual Health we will host a one day training session on Developing a Sexual Health Policy on Wednesday February 13rd, 2019 in our national offices. This training will be facilitated by the National Youth Health Programme (NYHP).

International Symposium on Youth Information in Europe and Ireland
Youth Information is a rapidly evolving, dynamic and needed area of youth provision that young people have a right to within European Policy. There are new programmes, knowledge, service provision initiatives and policy changes which are of common interest to all stakeholders. This event will provide an opportunity for networking, learning and development of a common understanding of the evolving challenges and opportunities in youth information.
This event will promote and evidence the value of European and national youth information services for young people in the context of Eurodesk and youth information services' role in the implementation of the EU youth strategy.

The Youth Identity Project challenges young women to explore who they are and reflect on where their sense of identity comes from. This one day training, hosted by Youth Work Ireland is for youth workers, tutors and experienced volunteers who are interested in delivering this programme to young women aged 16-19 in their services.
