Five National Outcomes

IYWC and CDYSB's next youth practitioner symposium took place on Wednesday 17th September and featured the Five National Outcomes for children and young people as its theme.

This symposium anticipated the forthcoming National Youth Strategy and provided practitioners with a space to learn about and reflect on the challenges and opportunities that youth work has in contributing to the five national outcomes for children and young people under the Better Outcomes, Brighter Futures Policy Framework. 

Conor Rowley and Doreen Burke from the DCYA briefed delegates on Better Outcomes, Brighter Futures and updates on the National Youth Strategy development process.

Following the group discussions and workshop Anne Connolly (Chair of NYWAC) facilitated a questions and answers session.
