Youth Work Ireland Galway is a voluntary organisation that works with young people in Galway City and County and has done so since the 1970s. We do this through supporting communities to set up and deliver youth programmes on a voluntary basis and by developing services for young people. We work in partnership with a number of community groups and statutory bodies in the development and promotion of youth services. Our staff are supported by over 300 adult volunteers resulting in a comprehensive and diverse range of services for young people throughout the county of Galway.
Our core services are organised into 12 staff led projects. Each project has a trained leader and it’s own aims, meetings and activities. We also provide a range of other programmes, activities and services. These include Youth Cafes, After School Clubs, Summer Camps and In-school Workshops.
