Youth Work Ireland and Belong To Pride Breakfast and March
The Buttery Restaurant, Trinity College Dublin
Saturday June 24th
9.30am -12pm

About this Event

On Saturday June 24th Youth Work Ireland and Belong To will host a “PRIDE Breakfast” for young LGBTI+ people from all over Ireland coming to Dublin to march in the PRIDE Parade. The event will see over 300 young people from the National Network of LGBTI+ youth groups across Ireland,  travel to Dublin to march as one group under the banner ‘Transforming Young LGBT Lives’.

The aim of this event is to celebrate LGBTI+ youth people, promote the work done by youth services  and to raise awareness about the needs of LGBT young people. The event will create a sense of community and belonging amongst the young people, so coming together to have breakfast is part of creating this ‘togetherness’. It will be an important and exciting event, it will be colourful, energetic, fun, life changing for some young people and a safe space for young people from LGBT+ youth groups across Ireland to celebrate their identity in a safe and accepting environment.
