Launch of Marriage Equality Peace IV Campaign #oddoneout

We are very excited to be a partner in the Youth Network for Peace Programme and to be leading on the campaigns and conventions project strand alongside our partners Northern Ireland Youth Forum.

Our youth led campaigns and conventions group have workshopped and identified our first campaign which is Marriage Equality and we are excited to launch our social media campaign around this under the #oddoneout.

We attended the Marriage Equality March in Belfast and Youth Work Ireland and BeLonG To's Pride Breakfast event in Dublin and asked young people to write down their message about what marriage equality means to them and we took a photo of them holding a sign with their message to release on social media as part of the campaign.

How to get involved:

If you are a young person in Northern Ireland or one of the six border counties and want to get involved in this social media campaign to support marriage equality and have your message heard read on!

Our campaign is a photo campaign using social media. If you want to get involved take a photo of yourself holding a sign with one sentence saying what marriage equality means to you and email us a copy of your photo with signed consent forms and also one of the relevant Peace IV participation forms – Under 16 available here and 16 and over available here for everyone in the photo.
