·         Ashtown Recording Studios at The Aviva! With the complete Recording Studio transported into The Aviva, bands and other artists will be able to record full demos there and then, and learn how it’s done by the experts - for free! This has never been done before; another IYMAs first, make sure you sign in early!

·         A live Demo review section, where some of the music industry’s top people will critique Demos as the artist sits in the room – tensions run high and nerves are frayed as young artists present their music to be reviewed in this very popular event.  Sometimes high praise is dished out, and sometimes the very opposite may be the case – NOT for the faint hearted!

·         The IYMAs Mentor Sessions – These sessions are an opportunity to young musicians to come along and freely engage with some of the top brains and influential personnel in the Irish music industry. We invite young people to sit with our mentors for an hour long session and ask whatever questions they like, no matter how silly they may think their questions are! Because of our unique approach and the respect which is shown to The IYMAs, the Mentor panel which we have is the envy of the entire music industry – no other music event boasts a panel of such high quality. This year we have Willie Kavanagh (formerly CEO of EMI Records and currently Chairman of IRMA), Jackie Hayden of Hot Press Magazine, Aiden Lambert (International Band Manager), Liza Geddes (Friction PR – The Villagers, BellX1), Pete Holidai (Radiators From Space, rock legend), Edison Waters (Top manager representing Laura Izibor, Gavin James and many more...), Will Ryan (Top music barrister representing The Coronas, Original Rudeboys, Walking On Cars...), Craig Kingma from Indiemusic.ie - the next BIG thing in online artist presence, and many many more.

·         Special guest performances – we can’t say because it would spoil the surprise, but let’s just say that previous guests have included Royseven, Delorentos, Paddy Casey, Ham Sandwich...

·          Drum & percussion workshop; with Steve Brown at the helm, this is going to be a blast! Steve will have you playing along with him on all sorts of things from drumkits to electronic drumkits to cajons to iPads – we challenge you not to love this!

·         Busking Stages – This was introduced in 2013 and immediately proved to be a massive hit! For any young artist that is attending The IYMAs , this is your chance to crack out a couple of tunes, you never know who will be listening!

·         Photography Masterclass; Mick Quinn is one of the foremost rock photographers ever to have come out of Ireland. With Bruce Springsteen, Moby,U2 and a host of other superstars in his collection, you might be interested in hearing what Mick has to say!

·         Youth Leader Recommended Electric Stage; This is a full live side stage away from the main room, with some of the best live acts from around the country from this year and previous years!

·        The full schedule of The IYMAs at the Aviva to be announced!....
