Saturday 27th April - Grand Finals

Across three floors of Liberty Hall in Dublin City Centre, the biggest of all IYMAs events will change the shape of future generations of musicians and media minded young people in Ireland forever!

Join us on this annual celebration of possibility!

If you are between 12 - 19 years of age, and are interested in pursuing music or media, you NEED to know about the IYMAs.

You can simply go along to your nearest youth project or youth club and ask them about the event - if they don't know, ask them to find out.

This is the biggest programme for young musically minded people that Ireland has ever seen!

Already confirmed for IYMAs 2013 Final Event are a host of workshops, Question & Answer Sesssions with top record company executives / band managers / professional musicians / music publishers / guest performances by top acts (in the past we've had Royseven, Delorentos, Ryan Sheridan, Ham Sandwich - so you'll never know who we may have this year!)

On top of that, we'll have a special Busking Stage, which will feature special guests AND an open mic for those feeling like it!

Then there is the live performance section for all of the IYMAs selected artists to impress our music industry panel - (the acts will have been selected at an earlier stage by the young people themselves).

Speaking of Music Industry Panel - with the connections that Garageland has, we are very proud to enjoy the support of Willie Kavanagh (EMI Records, IRMA) - Jackie Hayden (Hot Press Magazine) - Stuart Clark (Hot Press Magazine), Will Ryan (Music Barrister, Coronas, Travega, Ollie Cole), Keith Johnson and David Wilkinson (IMRO), Barry Ennis (top Music Promoter), Liza Geddes (Friction PR, Villagers, Snow Patrol), Mick Quinn (MQ Photography) and many other key music industry figures.

All of the industry figures who attend The IYMAs make themselves available to speak directly to the young people attending in a gracious, caringm and understanding manner. We don't believe in The X-Factor, and we don't condone the negative behaviour of the criticisms on that (and similar) show - you can ask these guys ANY QUESTION YOU LIKE and they will be happy to engage with you.

This is an amazing opportunity for any aspiring young person, and this is the ONLY place in the world where it happens!

And to cap it all we have the Awards themselves - a huge Hollywood Style event, which celebrates the work of many hundreds of young people at different tasks set to them as part of The IYMAs '23 Jobs'.

We are very proud to have designed this unique programme, and to have introduced such enthusiasm on an annual basis with Youth Work Ireland since 2008.
