Youth Work with LGBT+ Young People

Cost: €10 (including tea/coffee & light lunch)

This event will explore youth work with LGBT+ young people in Ireland and provide participants with practical information they can use to develop services for LGBT+ young people. The event will also give space to some big picture discussion on how the LGBT+ youth strategy may impact on work with young people.

Implementing the FRIENDs programme in a youth work setting

The FRIENDS Youth (12 -15 years) programme was developed in Australia for children and adolescents to reduce anxiety and promote emotional resilience. The FRIENDS programme is a cognitive behavioural approach early intervention and prevention programme focusing on anxiety and depression. The programme is group and skills based.

Cost: €250 PP (approx.) Members will be invoiced for this training.

This training is only open to Youth Work Ireland Member Youth Services

Master Trainers Intel Security Digital Safety Programme

Date: Monday November 7th (11am-4pm)

Venue: Youth Work Ireland National Office

These Master Trainers will be prepared to support the provision of the Intel Security Digital Safety Programme. Master trainers will be provided with a Youth Work Ireland digital engagement guidelines, Intel Security Digital Safety Programme training materials and a Memorandum of Understanding, to assist them in providing the programme in a coherent and supported way in their local youth service.
