The purpose of this training is to help people working with young people understand the role that social media plays in young peoples lives. The training also aims to equip peple working with young people with the tools to use social media as an engagement, consultation and message generating tool. The training will also touch on child/youth protection aspects of new media.

We in Youth Work Ireland are ambitious about the Irish Youth Music Awards and our young people who participate in them. To celebrate an astounding seven year run, the Irish Youth Music Awards is moving to The Aviva Stadium for the National Day.
The IYMAs is quickly developing into one of the biggest youth music programmes in Ireland and is reaching all corners of the country North and South. Its unique formula continues to attract more and more eager young people each year.
Symposium on Development Education
This event will focus on how youth workers can mainstream develoment education in their practice.
